Basket Patterns of the Cherokee - PDF Pattern
To celebrate Native American Heritage Month, here’s a new pattern honoring one of the most beloved art forms of my indigenous tribe. While I didn’t grow up on reservation land, I was fortunate to live close enough to visit tribal headquarters and museums on several occasions. If you ever find yourself in Northeast Oklahoma, I highly recommend checking out the various cultural education options that you can find there. I am proud to be a member of the Cherokee Nation, and I hope that you enjoy stitching the cross stitch interpretation of these traditional basket patterns.
